Hi, I'm Bernice the owner of Wag & Wander Dog Care.  I've been walking dogs on a voluntary basis for a number of years and have always walked dogs belonging to family and friends.  I've also cared for dogs in my home for several years, also on a voluntary basis. The more I have studied dogs and the way they interact with each other and us humans, the more I enjoy being around them.  I find them an absolute joy and so funny! This is what has led me to taking early retirement from my job to set up my own small business to operate as a Dog Walker, Doggy Day Carer and Home Boarding provider.  I am inspected and licensed by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council. 

When you leave your dog with me, it becomes part of my family for the time it is with us - receiving loads of love and attention (not to mention the odd treat), stimulating walks, enrichment activities and you can rest assured they are in a safe environment, cared for as if they were my own.  I also offer group walks, limiting a group to 4 dogs or solo walks if your dog is more comfortable with that.

What are your rates for dog walking services?

Groups walks are £17/hour per dog (second dog £12/hour).

Solo walks are £20/hour per dog (2 dogs from same home £35)

How many dogs attend each walk?

Dogs are walked in 2's, 3's and 4's depending on the mix of the pack. I can also offer limited solo walks if your dog is nervous of others. Please contact me for availability.

How do you ensure the safety of the dogs during walks?

We prioritize safety by using secure leashes when necessary, following designated routes, and closely monitoring all dogs during walks. I have studied canine behaviour and communication. All dogs are tagged with "Find my" technology tags when outside the home and transported securely in custom-built crates secured in my small van.
